Tree planting with Keep Wales Tidy

Ty Gwyn has been very lucky to secure 140 tree saplings in conjunction with Keep Wales Tidy for the school grounds. 

As with most schools, our yard is surrounded by functional metal fencing, the trees we planted to day will not only mask the fence and improve the appearance of the yard but will provide a home to lots of different flora and fauna. Trees also clean the air and reduce levels of pollution (as school transport vehicles enter the yard).
