Support Staff Stars in our Schools Day

Every year we celebrate this day in Ty Gwyn because we feel we should say “thank you” to all of the staff who support teaching and learning, give care, support and guidance, provide administrative support, cook, clean and maintain our school.
Mrs Davies organised some amazing cup cakes for us and every staff member had a super goodie bag.
⭐️ Thank you from us all for all you do! ⭐️

  • Remembrance Day 2022

    Fri 11 Nov 2022

Today Ty Gwyn observed a 1 minute silence to mark Armistice Day as an act of remembrance in our whole school assembly.
The history of the poppy growing in the barren, muddy fields after the fighting led us to sharing the poignant writing of the John McCrae poem “In Flanders’ Fields”.
