• Dallaglio Rugby Works Tournament winners!

  Well done to our boys, Y8 to Y11, who participated in the Dallaglio Rugby Works touch rugby tournament at USW Sports Park. The boys played 4 games and won them all, securing the plate trophy! Wow!

• Cwm Taf Morgannwg Healthy Schools Award phase 3 🍃

  Ty Gwyn has today achieved stage 3 of the Healthy Schools award scheme. Ty Gwyn has used the whole school emotional and well-being audit tool to implement changes and improvements to well-being and healthy lifestyles across both staff and learners.

• Ty Gwyn is officially an ELKLAN Communication Friendly School!

  After a year’s hard work by all our teaching and support staff to develop children and young peoples’ communication skills, language and ability to develop in this area as they progress through school, we have gained our communication friendly schools status. 
  Being a communication friendly school means we recognise, understand and support our learners to develop in this area and know the value of this will positively impact their lives. 
  Well done to Mrs Davies our ALNCO for leading us through many the phases of CPD and implementation.
