Summer Water Safety – Please Share 💧

As the weather improves, more young people are spending time near rivers, lakes and the coast. Tragically, nearly half of UK drownings happen between May and August, with teenagers among the most at risk. [rlss.org.uk]

Please take a few minutes to talk to your child about staying safe around water:
✅ Don’t jump into unknown water
✅ Be aware of cold water shock—even on hot days
✅ Avoid using inflatables in open water
    ✅ Never swim alone
✅ In an emergency, call 999 – don’t enter the water

Having these conversations can save lives.

  • The Big Lunch #bettertogether

    Fri 19 Jun 2026

This year we held the Big Lunch in school, we had planned to go to the park but the weather was against us as you may have noticed.

Becuase of this we didn’t have families or friends this year but it was fantastic to see the whole school sat down at lunch together and thank you to our fabulous cooks Emma and Steph for the pizza slices too!

All of the other food was donated by staff and friends to mark the special occasion and celebrate community, however it looks!

  • Goodbye and good luck to our Y11!

    Tue 09 Jun 2026

A day of sadness and pride as we said goodbye to our Y11s. As a very small school, it feels like saying farewell to family, we wish you all well and every future success. We hope we have taught you all to take pride in yourselves, be open to learning and new experiences and always work hard to succeed.

  • Soccer Aid for UNICEF 2026 ⚽️

    Tue 02 Jun 2026

    Soccer Aid for UNICEF 2026!

We raised £70 and had a fantastic game of football, greens v blues

I’m sure the blues (the gals) won even though those greens had a professional on their team!

    💚🩵

We have the right to play and relax.

Children all over the world are denied this fundamental childhood right and the chance to thrive and develop.
Every penny we raised is spent by UNICEF on making sure children can play ⚽️
